The Internationalization and Convocation Unit offers a wide range of services to international students, scholars and visitors including:-
- Acting as a central administrative support and front office for international partnerships and collaborations;
- Fostering international mobility opportunities for university students and staff;
- Managing exchange programmes that include Occasional and long-term;
- Handling general inquiries from prospective International students and scholars;
- Coordinating the development of relevant strategic policies and guidelines for international collaborations and partnerships;
- Coordinating activities arising out of the university partnership in various sub-regional, regional and global institutions and consortia;
- Organizing suitable accommodation for international students scholars and International visitors;
- Supporting International students’ registration;
- Coordinating communication between scholars and academic units;
- Organizing cultural orientations, campus tours and trips; and
- Assist Academic Scholars, International Students and Visitors to secure various permits i.e. work permits, study permits and research permits.
